Sealing

Robert Stanley Asphalt Maintenance uses the finest petroleum-based asphalt sealer on the market, LN-11  Equinox. Surface preparation includes removing dead grass from driveway edges, using a steel-bristled broom to clean heavily-ingrained surface dirt where needed, blowing the surface clean with high pressure walk-behind equipment, and then spray applying the sealant at 2300 psi pressure. Trim boards are used to prevent over-spray onto houses, garage doors, sidewalks, etc. to ensure neatness.

(Please note that we really saturate  your driveway’s edges by triple spraying them because the edge area is normally the most vulnerable to deterioration. This will result in some sealant over-spray on your grass where it abuts your driveway edges. Though initially somewhat unsightly LN-11 does not kill your grass so the next time you mow your lawn the grass with the sealant on it will get cut off. It’s a matter of function over form.)

Crack Repair

Even though our product helps to prevent cracks from forming in your driveway, many driveways already have cracks. These cracks, left unattended, will eventually erode the stone substrate below. Water then pools under the surface, causing further surface breakup when it freezes.
Robert Stanley Asphalt Maintenance offers hot pour asphalt crack repair. This rubberized product is heated to over 350°F. It fills existing cracks as it is dispensed, perfectly melding the joints together. A squeegee is then used to ensure levelness with the existing surface. The use of this service will greatly enhance the longevity of your driveway.
